One of the tasks of a Civil Engineer in an oil refinery construction project is to design foundations for all process equipment in the oil refinery, such as Distillation Towers, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, etc. 

This OJT aims to train participants to be able to design the three most common types of equipment foundations found in oil refineries, namely Vertical Vessel Foundations, Horizontal Vessel Foundations, and Storage Tank Designs, in accordance with the design standards and specifications applicable in oil and gas projects. 

During the design process, participants will use software commonly used in oil and gas projects, namely AFES.
